Why we are here

The nearest town to our base

Luton is the closest large town to where we work from, which is why we have an 01582 landline number. Nothing about a job here is a special trip, and no travel is priced into a Luton or Dunstable quote.

Luton Borough Council is one of the seven councils and organisations that list us as an approved contractor, and one of only two commercial case studies we have is a town centre clean in Luton itself, so this is not a town we have just added to a list. It is one of the places we know best.

What we charge, and what you get for it

We are not the cheapest quote you will get in Luton or Dunstable, and we are not trying to be. Many pressure washing services use a small domestic machine – often your local window cleaner or gardener – and cost less than we do. We offer high-quality work at a reasonable cost.

Our minimum charge is £250 and there is no VAT to add to it. Below that figure we cannot do the job to the standard we want to be judged by, so we would rather say so on the page than waste your afternoon. Above it, what you get is the owner on site for every job, petrol-engined commercial jetting units rather than domestic machines, a price fixed before anything starts and £5m public and employers’ liability with Hiscox that has never been claimed on in almost 20 years.

If that reads as blunt, it is meant to save you a conversation. If you are collecting the lowest of three prices, we will not be it. If you want the job done once and done properly, send us a photo.

Town centre paving in Luton during gum removal and cleaning for Luton Council
For businesses and councils

We clean the town centre as well as the driveways

One of our two commercial case studies is a town centre clean in Luton: pavements, graffiti, gum and ingrained traffic dirt, worked around the hours the place is in use. That work uses state-of-the-art Mazzoni boilers producing steam at up to 120 degrees Celsius, which is what shifts chewing gum and oil where cold water will not.

For sites with no water supply, we hold an Affinity Water licence to draw from hydrant washout points, and COSHH information and RAMS statements are supplied on request. Luton Borough Council is one of our local authority approvals.

Questions

Luton and Dunstable questions

Can’t see your question here? Give us a call or drop us a message on WhatsApp and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Yes. We work from nearby Harpenden, which is why the published number is an 01582 one, and Luton is one of only two towns where we have done town centre work. It is the nearest large town to us, not an outpost of our service area.

Yes. Dunstable is treated exactly the same as Luton for pricing and availability, and both sit inside the Bedfordshire half of our working area alongside Hertfordshire and NW London.

Because the job is done with proper commercial equipment, overseen by the person who quoted it, and priced to be done once. A cheaper quote usually means a low-powered domestic machine, a less thorough clean and no biocidal treatment, so the surface greens up again quickly. We specialise in high-quality work with high-quality results, every time.

Luton Borough Council lists us as an approved and trusted contractor, one of seven councils and organisations that do. We have also carried out town centre cleaning in Luton around The Mall shopping centre, which is one of our two commercial case studies.

Yes. Car parks, playgrounds, pavements, cladding and gum removal are all commercial work and have their own pages. Where a site has no water supply, our Affinity Water licence lets us draw from hydrant washout points instead.

Yes, on request, for every commercial job. We are CSCS accredited and carry £5m public and employers’ liability insurance with Hiscox, which is what the councils that list us as an approved contractor checked before they did.
