Drive and patio in one visit

Photos and a rough size

A couple of photos of each surface and something to judge scale by, such as how many cars the drive holds. Most Watford quotes go back the same day.

One price for the lot

Doing the drive and the patio on one visit is cheaper than booking two, because most of the cost of a job is getting set up. The figure is fixed before we start and there is no VAT on it.

Treat, then clean

Weeds, moss and lichen are treated first so they release properly instead of being blasted off the surface and growing straight back. Then the open areas are taken with the surface cleaner.

Edges, steps and rinse down

Kerbs, thresholds, steps and the awkward strip against the house are done by hand, then everything is rinsed off and the debris cleared rather than left in a pile by your gate.

Yes. Bushey, Bushey Village, Watford itself and the surrounding roads are all inside our normal working area, and there is no travel charge added to any of them. If you are not sure about your postcode, send it over and we will confirm before quoting.

Yes, and it costs less than booking two visits, because setting up is most of the work. Send photos of both and you will get one price covering the lot.

It is at the right pressure. Tarmac cleaned too hard loses its aggregate and ends up pitted, so it is worked at a lower pressure than block paving or concrete, mainly to lift the green off rather than to strip the surface.

We need to get a vehicle reasonably close and the surfaces clear of cars. If parking outside needs a permit, a visitor bay or a suspension, tell us at quote stage so it can be arranged rather than discovered on the morning.

Yes. We treat shared drives and communal areas as commercial work and are happy to work with managing agents and residents’ committees. It helps to have one person to instruct us and settle the invoice.

Yes, £250, with no VAT to add. On a typical Watford drive or patio that is not usually the deciding factor. We have it in place because we are geared up for cleaning larger areas quickly.
